The last week of June belongs to the mountains. From June 25–28, 2026, the 18th annual Telluride Yoga Festival — the longest-running yoga festival in the country — brought together teachers, practitioners, and wellness brands in the crisp alpine air of Mountain Village, Colorado. Kaya was there as a proud in-kind sponsor and vendor, and it turned into one of our favorite weekends yet.
A festival that shares our values
Four days, more than 24 presenters, and over 120 offerings — from sunrise flows to live-music sound baths, guided hikes, and workshops — all set in an intimate, inclusive mountain gathering. It's a festival built on nature, community, and mindful living, which is exactly what Kaya is about. We're Rooted in Colorado, and there's no better place to share what we make than a yoga festival in the San Juan Mountains.
What we brought to the booth
Our booth was a field of florals. We brought the full KayaBloom line of floral cork yoga mats — poppy, sunflower, and wildflower designs printed on sustainably harvested cork — along with our matching cork blocks. Kaya is the only brand offering floral cork mats with coordinating blocks, and every design is UV-printed with eco-friendly, water-based ink, so the color is vivid without the chemicals.
The showstopper? Our XL cork pet mats — the world's first cork pet mats. Between yoga sessions, more than a few dogs found their new favorite spot in Mountain Village.
Meeting the Kaya community
Some of our favorite moments were the conversations at the booth — practitioners feeling the cork for the first time, comparing floral designs, and asking about our sourcing. It's the reason we show up in person.
Mountain weather did its thing on day three — a passing rain shower rolled through Mountain Village. Cork's water resistance shrugged it off and the mats kept their grip.
A sold-out weekend
The response was beyond what we hoped for. Foot traffic was steady all four days, practitioners rolled out Kaya mats right there in the village, and many of our products sold out before the festival ended. To everyone who stopped by, practiced with us, or took a piece of Kaya home — thank you. You made it unforgettable.
Why cork, why Colorado
Cork's sweat-activated grip and natural antibacterial properties make it a perfect festival companion, and its regenerative sourcing fits a wellness community that cares about the planet. If the festival introduced you to cork for the first time, our guide to cork yoga mat benefits is a great next read. And if a four-legged friend joined your practice, meet our XL cork pet mats.
We're grateful to the Telluride Yoga Festival for having us — and we'll see you at the Denver Yoga Summit next.
